ASIS Long Island Chapter Presents

The Long Island Chapter of ASIS International is proud to have John Gray as our guest speaker for the November meeting.

John is currently the Director of Team Security for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association.

Prior to that he was the Director of Corporate Security Operations for the Simon Property Group.

John is retired (33 yrs service) from the FBI and is a Crisis Management/ Emergency Preparedness Coordinator and Instructor.

There is nothing more terrifying and challenging to security professionals than to have an active shooter crisis.  As security professionals how you and your team reacts and responds is critical to saving lives and preventing bloodshed.  However, when the shooting starts, even the best emergency plans can unravel.  Using recent examples of active shooting situations, this session will walk you through a minute-by-minute timeline of what unfolded, what should go right and what can go wrong.
