Air Serv seeks a dynamic, high energy, results based leader for Aviation Security Operations!

One of the “top aviation services companies in the nation” is seeking dynamic, high energy, and results Director to manage our JFK Airport Security Operations. We are looking for the next “rising stars” that have the talent and drive to take the organization to a “truly great” status!

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director, Security will report to the SVP, NY.  This position is ultimately responsible for both the development and proactive maintenance of Air Serv security accounts based at JFK Airport. As a member of the Air Serv Management Team, the Director is expected to be a key contributor to the development of the Company’s overall strategic vision, tactical strategies and operational objectives by working in close contact with management. The Director will work collaboratively with General Managers, Regional Managers, and Executive Management to accomplish the Security Account strategy. The Director will ensure that the planned profitability of all Security Accounts is realized along with potential growth opportunities for JFK, LaGuardia and Newark Airports. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Manage and lead a group of 300 security agents, supervisors, and account managers.

· Responsible for an operating P/L of $8M+.

· Drive retention and growth of regional accounts.

· Manage the deployment of personnel and resources in a way that optimizes revenues and margins.

· Ensure security account revenues are properly forecasted.

· Represent Air Serv in an executive capacity with customer.

· Act as primary lead executive for Northeast security initiatives.

· Ensure Air Serv programs are and policies are in line with financial and operational guidelines.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s Degree required; Graduate Degree preferred.

· Minimum seven years operations and account management experience

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and value points.

· Experience of day-to-day management of business operations.

Experience of business development in services.
